Summary

We seek future leaders to join our Live Operations team in Nashville, NC as Feedmill Management Trainees. This entry-level management program develops talented individuals into future leaders in live operations, including roles such as flock advisor, area supervisor, hatchery manager, and feedmill manager. The program begins June 2025.

The 12-month program offers hands-on training, learning sessions, improvement projects, and structured rotations, immersing trainees in all aspects of Live operations. Successful completion leads to a supervisor role.

Principal and Essential Duties

• Manage feed production and delivery operations safely and efficiently.
• Ensure quality and production meet standards and customer needs.
• Oversee feed production from receipt to delivery, ensuring nutritional guidelines and inventory management.
• Maintain feedmill and develop operational schedules, conduct inventory.
• Communicate with customers and team members daily.
• Analyze production reports and communicate findings to management.
• Follow bio-security, food safety, and poultry welfare policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Minimum Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, to be completed within 12 months of June 2025 start.

Preferred Education

• Degrees in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, or Business Administration.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no points.
• Within 2 semesters of completing a Bachelor's degree (employment begins after degree completion).

Environmental and Physical Requirements
