Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Cable Splicer to construct and repair underground electrical systems, working with energized and de-energized equipment. The role requires travel to multiple job sites, including out-of-state locations, as operational needs dictate.

Reporting to the Foreman, you will lead crews, mentor apprentices, and perform live-line work with proper PPE and insulated tools, maintaining a strong safety focus across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Three years of underground experience is required.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations, including out-of-state.
• Valid CDL is required.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, holidays or on-call shifts.
• Ability to perform live-line work with PPE and insulated tools.

Responsabilités

• Construct, maintain and repair energized and de-energized underground systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair underground power conductors and related hardware.
• Operate backhoe, bucket trucks, digger trucks and mini excavator.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions; travel as required for outages or emergencies.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
