Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and care for 8–13 students. The duties include supervision, routines, and active engagement in academic, emotional, and social development.

Two-person couples must be married for at least two years, be 27 or older, hold a high school diploma or GED, and meet safety requirements on a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married requirement for couples.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
