Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and support 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, and wellness support, with a nine-on/three-off duty cycle and future placements in a steady home group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples married at least two years; two-person role.
• Both spouses must be 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to get certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff are role models.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
