Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field.
• A master’s degree may substitute for one year of professional experience.
• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public or business administration or a related field.
• Ability to interpret, communicate, and apply policies, procedures, program rules, and regulations.
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to foster campus belonging and understanding of student development.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and communicate effectively with listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of one or more residential neighborhoods and student leader teams.
• Supervise student leaders and advise inter-housing council.
• Engage residents and provide support; provide on-call/crisis support.
• Lead student conduct adjudication.
• Collaborate with Residence Life and campus partners to enhance student experience.
