Job summary

RPM Development Group is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to serve as a live-in superintendent for a residential building in Newark, NJ. Responsibilities include maintaining the site, addressing work orders, turning over vacant units, and handling on-call emergencies.

Ideal candidates have experience in electric, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, with the ability to work independently and drive their own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with minor repairs including electric, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• Able to maintain overall cleanliness of the property.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site in good working order per RPM policies and keep exterior grounds, common areas and parking clean.
• Address work orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for turnover of vacant units.
• Serve on-call for emergencies.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, products and supplies.
