Job summary

Rhode Island School of Design is seeking an Assistant Director for Housing Operations. This live-in, full-time role oversees occupancy, room changes, and housing systems for about 1,460 students across undergraduate and graduate programs.

You’ll partner with the Associate Director for Housing Operations and the Director of Residence Life to manage move-in/move-out, HMS data integrity, and Pre-College housing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in housing operations or student housing is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience with databases and housing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee occupancy, room changes, and housing systems in HMS.
• Manage move-in/move-out operations and Pre-College housing.
• Train and supervise housing operations staff including student workers.
• Coordinate with Residence Life and campus partners on housing services and safety.
