Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

This is a two-person role requiring commitment and integrity. The position offers on-campus housing, meals during duty, and comprehensive benefits with relocation assistance and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or in youth settings.
• Two-person couple role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and participate in activities with them.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
