Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus homes and support 8–13 students. The role combines mentorship, routine oversight, and active student engagement within a family-like setting.

Two spouses work as a team, with duties including supervision, driving, devotions, and coordinating activities. A two-year marriage minimum and age 27+ for both spouses are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting
