Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially in a family-like environment.

The role starts with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, relocation assistance, and paid training.

Competenze

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
