Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks dedicated house parents to supervise and mentor student homes for a two-person team. You will manage daily routines, lead devotions, transport students to activities, and oversee budgeting and reporting.

This is a two-spouse role with a nine-on, three-off schedule in the initial phase; includes housing and meals on duty, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Applicants must be married at least two years and 27+.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person spouse pair required for the role.
• Married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27+.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Support various student homes during initial nine-on/three-off cycle, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role.
