Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a dedicated two-person houseparent couple to provide daily supervision, mentorship and student support in our residential homes. You will lead activities, manage schedules, assist with meals and guardianship duties, and promote wellness and development.

The role involves nine days on duty followed by three days off, living in a student home, with relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits for both spouses.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
