Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students per home, creating a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a placed houseparent after initial assignment.

Formación

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for legally married couples for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsabilidades

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
