Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home.

Flex Houseparents work a nine-on, three-off schedule, with a potential transition to a placed role living with the same students. Benefits include salary per person of $46,917, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Must be a married couple for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
