Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes with 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support in a family-like setting.

Flex Houseparents work a nine-on, three-off schedule and may transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same students. Compensation includes housing and full benefits.

Competenze

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Support various student homes initially and transition to Placed Houseparent.
