Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Flex Houseparents to provide daily supervision and mentorship for students in a two-person couple role. Responsibilities include managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, and leading devotions.

Couples must be married at least two years, both be 27+, and hold a high school diploma or GED. On-site housing, training, and relocation assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain driver certification to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship of students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational time.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Transition to Placed Houseparent living with the same student group.
