Job summary

Bridges to Change seeks a part-time, live‑in House Manager to support a recovery‑focused group living environment. The role requires staying onsite nightly, ensuring a safe, respectful residence, and collaborating with BTC staff to support residents’ recovery paths.

The position emphasizes harm reduction, trauma‑informed care, and culturally responsive practices, with duties including crisis response, meetings, and daily house operations. It is temporary until lease termination.

Qualifications

• Requires live‑in residential presence and overnight duties.
• Minimum 1 year of sobriety required.
• Must be able to conduct observed urinalysis in a trauma‑informed manner; female identity required as Bona Fide Occupational Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overnight residential presence to deter prohibited conduct.
• Keep residence safe, healthy and alcohol/drug-free.
• Foster trust and accountability with residents; build respectful relationships.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to ensure safe living environment.
• Administer and document urinalysis screenings per program standards.
• Provide crisis response and refer to resources as needed.
• Promote harm reduction and culturally responsive practices.
• Lead weekly house meetings and support community building.
• Coordinate household operations and inventory, order supplies.
• Attend required trainings and uphold policies and confidentiality.
