Golden Heart Senior Care is seeking a Host Home Caregiver to live with and support adults with developmental disabilities in a family setting. This is a one-year contract focused on personal care, daily living assistance, and companionship in a home environment.

Ideal candidates have IDD experience, can use adaptive equipment (Hoyer lifts), and hold a valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance. CPR/First Aid is recommended; compensation ranges from $45,000 to $60,000 annually.

Formación

• Must have experience providing personal care.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to use adaptive equipment for transfers, Hoyer lifts, and bathing.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance, own vehicle preferred.
• Medication Manager or CMA or higher.
• CPR/First Aid recommended; ongoing trainings as needed.
• No pets or full-time children; matching with clients as applicable.
• Good humor, patience and dedication are a plus.
• Must complete full application and pass background/reference checks.

• Assist with daily living and social skills.
• Assist with independent living skills.
• Assist with transportation needs.
• Enjoy community outings together.
• Support meals, medications, hygiene, and grooming.
• Maintain daily documentation for the member.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and safety for the member.
• Support client to function as an independent adult in various settings.
