Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Live-In Caregivers / Home Health Aides to provide in-home care in New Jersey. The role involves round-the-clock presence to assist with daily living activities, mobility, medications, meals, and housekeeping, within clients' homes.

The position requires at least one year of HHA experience, an active NJ HHA license, and completion of an HHA training course. Excellent bedside manner, empathy, and reliability are essential as part of the BAYADA Way.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONE FULL YEAR work experience as an HHA, or a non-healthcare Employer (if newly licensed)
• Have completed a recognized HHA training course and hold an ACTIVE NEW JERSEY HHA License
• A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
• Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
