Job summary

Visiting Angels of Lufkin is hiring Live-in Home Health Aide (HHA) to serve clients across Deep East Texas, including Crockett and Lufkin. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship under tailored care plans.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive pay ($11–$13 per hour), health and dental benefits, weekly pay, and opportunities for advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care to broaden your skills.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid training and emergency response knowledge may be provided if needed.
• Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients and assist with light housekeeping.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents to supervisor.
• Provide companionship and supportive interaction with clients.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies and appointments/errands.
