Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents as a married couple to live on campus and care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home environment.

Both spouses must be at least 27, hold a high school diploma or GED, and pass driver’s certification for student vans. The role includes mentoring, schedules, devotions, activities, and budgeting responsibilities, with comprehensive benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and lead developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
