Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students.

Flex Houseparents follow a nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off schedule and may transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living with the same group of students.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license.
• No alcohol permitted while on duty.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
