Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, caring for groups of 8–13 students. You will supervise daily life, activities, and spiritual routines, while supporting academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initially, nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student home. Comprehensive benefits and relocation/training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Two-spouse role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
