Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and caring for a group of 8–13 students. This unique role combines supervision, guidance, and supervision of daily routines within a family‑like home environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring students, planning activities, administering medications as needed, driving to events, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and contributing to budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in home.
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; able to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
