Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and providing daily supervision for a group of 8–13 students. You will help manage routines, mentor students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, administering medications, driving students to events, leading devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers.
• Two-person couple role for the same group of students.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
