Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents for two married spouses to reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, and supervision for a group of 8-13 students. The role emphasizes a family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social development.

The position includes on-campus housing, meals during duty, and a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27 or older.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
