Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents as a two-person couple to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. The role combines daily supervision, schedule management, and development activities within a structured, family-like environment.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both be aged 27+, and hold a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role; married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Must complete individual employment applications for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
