Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role lives on-campus, provides care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students, with a path to a placed houseparent position within the same student homes. Training, relocation support, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Applicants must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both 27+, with a high school diploma or GED and a valid U.S. driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
• Initial 9 days on duty followed by 3 days off, then transition to placed houseparent in same student home
