Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment to foster academic and social development.

Upon hire, couples work a nine-on, three-off schedule, then transition to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role; must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
