Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students in a home setting, fostering a structured, family-like environment to help them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

The role begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required.
• Both spouses 27+ years old.
• No more than three dependent children in home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
