Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes, caring for about 8–13 students. You will supervise daily routines, mentor students, administer medications, drive to activities, and help organize devotions and Sunday Chapel.

The two-person position requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, flexibility across nine days on duty followed by three days off, and commitment to a smoke-free, alcohol-free campus with

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship

• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
