Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a dedicated couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development in a structured, family-like environment.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, coordinating routines, administering medications, and leading devotional activities. Eligible couples must be married at least two years, aged 27+, with a high school diploma

Qualifications

Experience working or volunteering with youth.
Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.

Responsibilities

Providing daily supervision and mentorship
Managing household routines and student schedules
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
Driving students to activities, and planning/developing activities with students
Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
