Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to promote academic and social development.

You will rotate nine days on, three off, with a transition into a placed role; complete employment applications required for both spouses.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
