Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students.

The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Responsibilities include supervising students daily, coordinating routines, administering medications, driving to activities,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be physically able to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
