Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents to live on campus and care for a group of 8-13 students. This two-person couple role requires marriage for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, medication administration, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two-year married couple minimum for the role.
• Both spouses must be at least 27 years old.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Comply with a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Capable of leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in role modelling for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
