Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. The role places you in on-campus student homes, caring for 8–13 students with supervision, guidance, and structured routines that support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Two-spouse teams, aged 27+, with a high school diploma, will provide daily oversight, devotions, and activities, while managing budgets and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role: couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in development/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
