Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and caring for 8–13 students in a home setting.

You will supervise, mentor, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.

The nine-on, three-off schedule progresses toward a placed houseparent role; benefits include $46,917 per person yearly, housing, meals, insurance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a supervising role.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver''s license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning appropriate developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited).
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
