Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring Full-time Flex Houseparents for couples. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, and supervision for 8-13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social development in a family-like environment.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, wellness checks, transportation, activities, devotions, and reporting. Must be legally married for at least two years, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and a valid

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required (both spouses).
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
