Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, guiding 8–13 students and fostering a family-like environment to support academics, emotions, and social growth.

Initially, nine days on duty followed by three off; later transition to a Placed Houseparent with the same group. Both spouses must apply individually and meet the stated qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two-year married couple required; both spouses 27+.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
