Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes, supervising 8–13 students and supporting academic, emotional, and social development in a family-like environment.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, wellness oversight, activities planning, devotions, and budgeting. After an initial nine-on/three-off schedule, a Placed Houseparent path may be pursued within the same home group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
