Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full‑time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on‑campus student homes and provide care and supervision for 8–13 students, guiding academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes daily supervision, routine management, devotions, and driving students, with a path from Flex to Placed Houseparent as stability grows. The package includes housing and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to obtain certification to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
