Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus homes, provide care and guidance to 8-13 students, and help with schedules, devotions, and activities.

The role begins with nine days on, three off, then progresses to a placed houseparent with a stable student home. Candidates must be a legally married couple for at least two years, both 27+, with a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning development and recreation
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
