Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents: couples living on campus to supervise 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, wellness, transport, and activities to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role requires two married partners (27+), a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Experience working or volunteering with youth.
Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
Both spouses age 27 or older.
No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models.

Responsibilities

Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
Managing household routines and student schedules.
Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
Driving students to activities and planning engaging developmental and recreational activities.
Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
