Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and guiding 8–13 students.

This role emphasizes supervision, routines, devotions, transportation, budgeting, and transitioning to placed houseparent; couples must be married for at least two years, both 27+, hold a high school diploma, and be committed to a safe, faith-friendly campus.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Transport students to activities and lead developmental and recreational programs.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Initially support various student homes with a nine-on, three-off duty cycle.
• Transition to a placed houseparent role for long-term residence with the same group.
