Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and support a group of 8–13 students. This two-person role requires a married couple, with a commitment to daily supervision, activities planning, and spiritual guidance.

The position transitions from daily oversight to a placed houseparent role, offering on-campus housing and meals during duty, plus comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
