Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, supervision, and guidance for 8-13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role begins with nine days on duty, followed by three off, with transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group. Benefits include housing, meals, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
