Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and guiding 8–13 students. This role provides a structured, family‑like environment that supports students’ academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, schedules, medications, driving to activities, devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Two-person couple role, legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
