Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents as a two-person couple to live in on-campus student homes and support a group of 8–13 students. You will provide care, guidance, and supervision to foster academic, emotional, and social growth in a family-like setting.

The role starts with nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with a future transition to a Placed Houseparent living arrangement.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.

Skills

Experience with youth
