Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students daily.

Responsibilities include supervising, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Chapel, and budgeting. This is a demanding yet rewarding role on a smoke-free campus with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with youth through work or volunteering.
• Two-person role for a legally married couple for at least two years.
• Spouses must be 27 or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan development/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
