Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. The role combines daily supervision with budgeting duties and family-like home management, forming a stable, nurturing environment.

The position begins with nine-on, three-off days, later transitioning to a placed, familiar home with the same students. Benefits include housing, meals, insurance, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
